Our Story
Founded in 2024 by Paul Camarata, 12-time Emmy winner, showrunner of NFL’s Hard Knocks and Netflix’s Quarterback, and Brian Pawloski, longtime educational leader and start-up founder, PanCam Pictures develops and produces premium documentary storytelling.
Brian Pawloski
Brian Pawloski is a lifelong urban educator and community advocate. Most recently, he was the Founder of Buffalo Collegiate Charter School in his native Buffalo, NY, a college prep school for students who did not have access to high-quality schools. Brian worked for Teach for America, Alliance for Catholic Education, and was a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools. He is a native of Buffalo, NY, and earned his degrees at the University of Notre Dame. He brings community engagement, organizational development, and provides a wealth of strategic and management experience to the team. Above all—he believes in Paul and the stories they bring to life.
Paul Camarata
Paul Camarata’s 23-year filmmaking career includes both creative and leadership positions on acclaimed programming such as all three of HBO’s iterations of HARD KNOCKS, the Netflix doc series’ QUARTERBACK and RECEIVER, and the 4D film at the NFL Experience Times Square. A creator both professionally and for recreation, he has produced films, poetry, blogs, photography, essays, graphic design and social media. He is a native of Albany, NY, and University of Notre Dame ‘02.
